Cricket Team Members
We are fortunate that some of the local
cricket matches played in the 1800's were reported in the Essex
Chronicle and the Essex Standard both of which have archives.
The main organiser was Robert Page who lived
at Downhall, Bradwell on Sea and not only maintained a cricket pitch
at DownHall but took part in games in other villages.

Bradwell star player and later Essex
			Cricket Captain H G Owen
