Holy Trinity Parish Church, North Fambridge

 

The Church is ancient building of red brick consisting of a Nave, South Porch and small bell tower.

The Octocanal Font is quite unusual.

In 1889 the church was substantialy restored with a brick skin to protect the original stonework.

In 1911 the small spire was added to the belfry.

 

 

Memorials inside the Church

There is a brass in the chancel dedicated to William Osborne ( died 15 January 1590) and his wife Anne Osborne ( died 17 March 1607 aged 72 yrs)

William and Anne had 8 sons and 8 daughters.

The Osborne's were Lords of the Manor from the time of Queen Elizabeth I.
