Maldon Union Parish Guardians 1911
Each Parish was required to provide for
the poor and appoint a guardian.
The Parishes of the Dengie and
Maldon Hundreds joined to form the Maldon Union and support one
large workhouse at Maldon for the District.
The list below show the guardian for each
parish in 1911

The above guardians formed the board of
the Maldon Union with additional members, W Sewell from Tillingham
and O D Belsham from Heybridge.
