Will of William Hatch of Bradwell on Sea 1835

 

In the Name of God Amen I William Hatch of Bradwell in the County of Essex being of sound and disposing mind  memory and understanding do make this my last Will and Testament and do give and bequeath all my worldly property in the following manner.

That is to say I give and bequeath to my eldest daughter Mary Lewis and her children of Tollesbury in the County aforesaid to my daughter Charlotte Winterbon of Southminster in the said County and to my Son William Hatch of Bradwell aforesaid and County also aforesaid all my Barge and her materials called or named the Betsy of the Port of Malden to be divided between them share and share alike

Secondly I give and Bequeath to my son William Hatch aforesaid all my Household Furniture Wearing Apparel Plate Linen and Printed Books for his sole use and Benefit Thirdly I will and desire that all my just Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences shall be paid by my Executor hereinafter mentioned out of the rest and residue and remainder of my property not herein disposed of and the balance of the said residue and remainder if any should remain

I Give and Bequeath to my three Children Mary Lewis Charlotte Winterbon and William Hatch all aforesaid to be divided between them share and share alike and I do constitute and appoint my son William Hatch aforesaid the whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke  and disannul all former Bequests Wills and Legacies heretofore made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixth day of November one thousand eight hundred and thirty four William Hatch.
